Clients may be required to maintain their own accounts or subscriptions with third-party service providers.
6. Client Accounts and Access
Where providing services requires access to a client's accounting, banking, payroll, cloud-storage, or other business systems, the client authorizes Day to Day Finance to access those systems solely for the purposes of providing the agreed services.
Clients are responsible for maintaining appropriate ownership and administrative access to their accounts.
Clients should not provide passwords through insecure methods. Where available, clients should use appropriate user-access permissions, delegated access, and multi-factor authentication.

- Invoices are payable according to the payment terms stated on the invoice.
- Clients are responsible for applicable taxes and expenses associated with the services.
- Day to Day Finance may suspend services if an account becomes materially overdue.
- The client remains responsible for fees incurred before services are suspended or terminated.
Additional work outside the agreed scope may be billed separately where communicated to and accepted by the client.
8. Changes to Services
Clients may request changes or additions to their services.
Day to Day Finance may adjust fees, timelines, or service requirements where a requested change materially affects the scope of work.
Any significant changes to an ongoing engagement may be documented in writing.
9. Confidentiality
Day to Day Finance understands that clients may provide sensitive financial, business, employee, and personal information.
We will treat confidential client information as confidential and use it only as reasonably necessary to provide our services, operate our business, comply with our legal obligations, or otherwise as authorized by the client.

- A client provides materially inaccurate or misleading information
- A client engages in unlawful, abusive, threatening, or inappropriate conduct
- Continuing the engagement would create a legal, ethical, security, or professional concern

Termination does not eliminate the client's obligation to pay outstanding fees for services already provided.
17. Force Majeure
Day to Day Finance will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power or internet failures, cyber incidents, technology failures, labour disruptions, government actions, or failures of third-party service providers.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the applicable laws of Canada.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the applicable courts of Nova Scotia, unless otherwise required by law or agreed to in writing.

Day to Day Finance may update these Terms from time to time.
When changes are made, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date.
Your continued use of our website or services after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms, together with any applicable proposal, service agreement, engagement letter, invoice, Privacy Policy, or other written agreement between Day to Day Finance and the client, constitute the agreement governing the relevant services.
